YOUcapture - WARMTH

Matt and I had a rare opportunity to work out this week ... together ... without child ... which was great! Our good friend Jim has opened a Crossfit Gym here in Kansas City ... and just recently shifted it from his home to an actual space. We went down to check it out and needless to say the warmth that exuded as we burned off some calories really felt good. I hope to finally get in to a routine and work harder this year to get some of the much needed weight off my body.

For more WARMTH inspirations.

MACROfriday - WINDOWandMAGS

I am not new to the blogging world...I have not been here that long in comparison to some, but 2.5 years is pretty good, and it has flown by! I however am a very new fan of the ARTFUL BLOGGING magazine that is put out by Stampington. I discovered this in just the last month and can't tell you how inspiring it has been for me. While Matt and I were enjoying some kid-free time together at the bookstore on Thursday, I was taking in all the great articles and ideas from other bloggers. It is a true source of inspiration to know that there are other woman out there doing what I want to do. I am looking forward to what the future holds for me in this creative blogging world. I hope that you will enjoy sharing the journey with me.

FOTOfriday - LOVE

It's been a busy week...I am working in to a new schedule at my newest place of work...and looking to rearrange some other things to make time for working out and taking time for me...which I don't hardly ever do...but this week, Matt and I were both off work on Thursday and we had a chance to celebrate Valentine's Day...and pick Syd up early from daycare for ice-cream and some park time with just Mom and Dad. I snapped this shot as we were walking the path...there are so many things I love about it, but most of all the love I have for the two of them.

For more interpretations of LOVE...head on over here!

HANDMADEValentines

Today we made valentines for Sydney's daycare class. It's hard to believe that we are already at this stage. I remember being young and making them for my classmates. I dug through my craft stuff and we created some simple cards...I mean they are only two year olds. But she had alot of fun doing it and I know she will enjoy passing them out tomorrow! Can't wait to hear all about it when we pick her up.
